By purchasing merchandise from The Consciousness AI project, you agree to the following terms, conditions, and policies. Our merchandise is provided as a way to support our open-source research team. We partner with third-party print-on-demand services to fulfill and ship your orders.
1. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
All of our merchandise is custom-made to order via a print-on-demand provider (Printify). Because products are uniquely printed specifically for you when you place an order, we cannot accept returns or offer exchanges for "buyer's remorse," or if you accidentally ordered the wrong size or color.
Please carefully review the sizing charts provided on the product pages before checking out to ensure the correct fit.
Damaged or Defective Items
We stand by the quality of our gear. If your item arrives damaged, has a manufacturing defect, or a printing error, please contact us at info@theconsciousness.ai within 30 days of product delivery. To expedite the process, please include:
- Your order number
- A clear, well-lit photograph showing the issue or defect
Upon verification, we will gladly arrange for a free replacement or a full refund to your original payment method. You do not need to ship the defective item back to us.
2. Fulfillment & Shipping Times
When you place an order, it goes directly to our print providers into production. Production times typically take 2-5 business days. Once produced, the item is shipped. Shipping times vary heavily based on the destination country.
Please note: All stated shipping times at checkout are estimates provided by the carriers and are not guaranteed delivery dates. We are not liable for delays caused by postal networks, extreme weather, or customs processing.
3. International Customs, Duties & Taxes
For international orders, please be aware that your package may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or local VAT imposed by your country's government upon arrival. These charges are strictly the responsibility of the customer. The Consciousness AI team is not responsible for paying these fees, nor are we responsible for packages abandoned or returned due to unpaid customs duties.
4. Order Cancellations & Modifications
Because orders are automatically routed to our print facilities for production shortly after payment is confirmed, the window to cancel or modify an order is extremely narrow (typically within a few hours). If you need to change a shipping address or cancel an order, email us immediately at info@theconsciousness.ai. If the item has already entered production or shipped, we will be unable to cancel or alter it.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Consciousness AI project, its team members, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the store; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the store, including our print providers and shipping carriers.
