Harald Atmanspacher is a physicist, philosopher of science, and senior researcher at Collegium Helveticum and the Institute for Frontier Areas of Psychology in Freiburg. He is a leading international authority on dual-aspect monism, complex systems, quantum cognition, and the foundations of consciousness.
Atmanspacher formalized the modern mathematical foundation of Dual-Aspect Monism (the Pauli-Jung conjecture), demonstrating that mental and physical realms are complementary epistemic aspects of a single psychophysically neutral reality rather than separate substances or reducible substrates. In Dual-Aspect Monism and the Deep Structure of Mind & Matter and his work co-organizing the Models of Consciousness (MOC) conferences, he establishes algebraic formalisms for contextual emergence.
